Health, Safety, Environment and Quality

We make it a priority for our procedures, facilities and products to be governed by international standards, such as: OHSAS 18001 (Safety and Health Systems), ISO 14001 (Environment Management Systems), ISO 9001, BRC, GMP (Quality standards), ISO 17025 (for laboratories), as well as other product certificates. These certificates are guaranteed by prestigious certifying entities, such as SGS and AENOR.

Nutreco has implemented its own Management Systems to establish objectives and goals of its different companies, as well as reference models in important questions, such as Safety and Health of its employees, Environment and Quality. These systems are organized with the support and monitoring of the companies’ management. They are audited and evaluated internally, assessing the main reference indicators in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

The evaluation systems remain constant, so that comparisons may be made in different periods and between different companies.

An internal network enables the establishment, maintenance and updating of all the relevant information for the above mentioned departments.

Nutreco's objective, following its own policy in this subject, is to be a sustainable company, based on good practices in Safety, Health and Environment. As a result of the compliance with the established standards, Nutreco carries out its activities through a sustainable management of natural resources, directly contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) and minimizing global warming.
