Pig Integration
Inga Food produces and sells fattened pigs. Its activities are mainly focused in Aragón, Levante, Murcia, Extremadura, Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla-León and Cataluña.
Inga Food, S.A. was set up in June 1998 as a Joint Venture between Nanta, S.A. and Omsa Alimentación, S.A.. In April 2005 it was fully acquired by Nanta, S.A., and henceforward it forms part of Nutreco España.
Inga Food controls the entire production chain, from breeding sows to fattened pigs. Its commitment with quality and food safety is firm, and for such reason it has developed its own quality management system, certified under the ISO 9001 AENOR standard.
Furthermore, Inga Food manages the production of a high number of Iberian pigs, under an integration system, which aims to achieve a differentiation of the final product through quality.
For these reasons, Inga Food is one of the national references in the swine production sector.
Forming part of the Nutreco Group, as well as its efforts to improve quality, traceability and food safety in the pig meat production chain, makes Inga Food a responsible pig supplier to the most relevant companies in the pork meat sector, thus complying with its objective, namely, to provide the highest reliability and safety, from the farm to the final consumer.
