Proof of this can be found in the ISO 9001 certification, the first of its kind granted in 1995 by AENOR to an industry in the sector. Nanta, forming part of the food chain, is committed to obtaining healthful food products for consumers, constantly monitoring the compliance with legal and ethical rules designed to guarantee the hygiene and healthfulness of food products. Nanta is an active participant, in collaboration with other prestigious industries, in work protocols for these areas and in the respect and protection of the environment.
In Nanta we believe in innovation, search for new products and solutions to the current markets’ needs, and these are the cornerstones supporting our work. To achieve these goals, our technical teams work in close collaboration with the R&D+i departments, Poultry and Rabbit Research Centre (PRRC), Swine Research Centre (SRC), and Ruminant Research Centre (RRC).
Nanta is under a permanent growth process, Spanish and Portuguese farmers are aware of Nanta’s bet for quality and innovation and rely on it. Amongst its portfolio of more than 200 products, mention could be made to ranges such as NANTIBER for Iberian pigs, NANTAPORC range for white pigs, “Gama Oro” and “Tradición Familiar” for poultry and rural rabbits, and the Kempen system, a revolution in nutrition and handling of dairy cattle. Nanta also develops production programs of quality meat: TAURUS, for beef cattle, and IBERCUS, for Iberian swine. These programs are endorsed by certifying bodies, and ensure the traceability of the food chain.
Nanta is also present in the pet food market. The ARION range of food products for cats and dogs, present in the market for over 25 years, is now consolidated as one of the best in its sector. In 2004 Nanta launched the range EQUITES for sport horses with a high genetic value, where the latest knowledge in horse feeding is combined with the most modern production techniques.
